Hey so I got two fics for Yuletide! THEY'RE AMAZING! AND THEY'RE BOTH ABOUT DEBBIE OMG.

Take The Photographs is about Debbie and Broots on the run, and it's SO GOOD (also, secret crossover). Debbie's voice as she's on the run is just perfect, and the little observations and notes are so good. And it's so hopeful! *squishes it* So good! I LOVE IT.

that which molds us from the clay is also about Debbie and Broots on the run, and its ALSO amazing, at the same time as being totally different - it's less hopeful, and it's more about the construction of the run rather than the shape of it, and Miss Parker is A++ (as always). I LOVE IT.

The archive has been so slow, I've only just read these now (Boxing Day morning), and I don't think I'll get to the rest until later. Hope everyone's stories were awesomesauce, feel free to link and rec woo!

so my Paid account (which was all thanks to my sister - thank you, dearest) is about to expire, and i'll revert to 'normal' status soon. i've been out of action largely since july, when my computer died - i have access to a laptop, but not often enough to let me post regularly. that situation is going to change in the New Year, as we're getting a new PC.

with that in mind, i'm going to revamp this blog, and try and keep it an 'open profile' blog, so i can direct people here without worrying if i'm including too much personal info or fanwank. i'll be making a few cosmetic changes too, and although i'm sad to see all my lovely userpics go, i haven't really utilized that feature of Paid accounts enough to warrant getting paid up again, so i'll be back to my meagre 6 pics, but that's okay.

on the fic front, i'll be posting up the final sections of Ashtaroth, plus a new fic for Sarah Connor Chronicles and a few final chapters of older homeless Buffy fic, early in the new year. i'm also hoping to do a bit of trimming and reorganising of my fic archive, although that won't happen until later.

we're going on a family camping trip, and won't be back until january, so i guess i'll write more then - and hopefully, with my new-improved computer status, i'll be writing more often and getting back into contact with people generally (if you've been feeling neglected, my apologies! i'll write soon!) until then, lots of good wishes for everyone over the holiday period, and hope you all have a lovely Christmas!! and happy returns for 2010...

I kind of want to write some fic, but I am VERY VERY SUSPICIOUS that I am the only person I know (apart from my partner) reading these books!
